Most maga Republicans don't even give a frick about abortion absolutism in either direction.
Sadly this smear campaign is aimed at the holier than thou Republican voters who clutch their pearls whenever the msm tells them to, and who allow the msm to dictate who they vote for.

How many of these exist these days? I suspect this demographic is pretty robust in the assisted living and nursing home populations...and they vote. So it isn't unimportant.
But your mega-church Jesus freak population is a GOP block that is filled with divorcees, illegitimate kids, drunks, drug users, and a host of other social ills. I'm just not sure these sorts of smears work in 2022.
