I mean, there is plenty of video footage of people just being let in, and casually strolling around the capitol like they are on a museum tour, while guards and police are just standing around looking bored, yawning. They are trying so incredibly hard to make this thing a huge deal.

The FBI had undercover agents and informants involved in this. We will learn they were the primary instigators.

They have to make it a big deal, because without it, they won't be able to point back to Jan. 6 and go "SEE! These people in front of their state capitols, demanding that their legislatures decertify the 2020 election results now that fraud has been proven? Hate it for them if they have to go before a DC jury, no matter how innocent they are. I suspect the government would take super light plea deals, though, in order to claim a victory and further their ridiculous spin about 1/6

This is so sad. Even if they have good lawyers they are at the mercy of the Biden DOJ & FBI which isn't about real justice it is a political tool.
AZ's AG called out AG Garland because they tried to stop the exposure of voter fraud in AZ.
So it is so obvious they are intimidating by arresting people for being told to walk in as antifa & BLM skate for destroying historical Churches and govt property.
It is horrifying watching this.

What happened at the conclusion of this "insurrection" exactly? Did some run when arrests were taking place or what? Did any arrests actually take place at the Capitol?

Tucker Carlson reported last night that in one arrest there were 4 involved. Two were unindicted co-conspirators (ie. FBI paid informants) out of 4 involved. The lead suspect was a homeless guy. This is bull shite of the highest order.
It was like Whitmer "kidnapping" case where over half of those arrested were FBI paid.
Christopher Wray should be tarred and feathered, then ridden out of town on a rail.

We can watch videos of cops shooting criminals all day long but a "domestic terrorist" event with thousands of people around and they don't shove videos of the event down our throat 24/7?

I watched some live video streams of the Jan 6 protests from my office in South Carolina. I anticipate a visit from the FBI any day now.
