Facebook facial recognizes you and catalogues you in the background of random photos.
Your apple or Android phone GPS tracks everything you do.
We have already put the monitoring system in place. We are just waiting for the opportunistic overlords and the perfect time.

I’d leave Apple out of this.
Apple’s business model is based on hardware and peripheral services related to their hardware.
That is completely different than Android and Facebook.
Their business model is building a profile of you to sell to advertisers.

What's funny is there are ways to help with climate and preparing the Earth for its ever-changing nature and what we are doing to it, but you would rather focus on doomsday in a completely ridiculous way and laugh at climate change. Bizarre.

Most experts agree we will have an AGI by 2050 and it will achieve super-intelligence within a year or two at most after that so unless you think the polar ice caps will destroy us before then it’s not an issue.

I envy folks who live off the grid. You know the pioneering spirit, ingenuity, and self-reliance. Plus no fricking smart phones to track everything we do. Americans once held self-reliance as an admired human trait. Explains the popularity of these Alaska themed shows on television.
