You’re telling me one of the most cutthroat, ruthless entities in the entire world let the voters pick this corpse/potato brain to be their champion?

however, Biden was the one who came out as sounding sane out of that group of progressives on stage...
he had name and he wasn't crazy left on a several positions...

Yep. Biden was by far the most palatable option that had nation-wide name recognition.

When it became obvious that Mayor Pete et al weren't gaining any traction and that Bernie was looking to pull away with the primary is when the establishment put the gears in motion to get behind a pick the public would view as a safe, moderate option with name recognition.
