There is no secret cure for cancer

With the death of so many (Jobs, Koch etc) that have endless amounts of money, there is no secret cure for cancer that are under wraps.
I often hear that there is a "cure for cancer" that the pharma companies keep wrapped up to secure future sales for treatment. I work for a cancer diagnostic company who also has companion treatment.
There is no current "cure" for cancer.
I would not work for a company that I thought or knew held the secret to cure the disease that took my mom from me. I hope you all know that people like me work for these companies that fight cancer and that we would blow the whistle if there was even a whiff of some secret treatment for cancer.

My wife works in cancer research and I hear stories about cancer patients and their families all the time. If word were to get out that there was a "magic drug" that cured cancer that was being kept secret, those people keeping the secret would be crucified in the middle of a public square.

Vegans are 12% less likely to get cancer, but it seems like vegans would never get cancer if animal protein was the sole cause.

Even the most corrupt organizations are filled with honest, hardworking rank and file employees. That’s how they are able to operate in plain sight. Problem is, a few corrupt (or misguided?) individuals in specific places can steer an organization full of honest people astray.
