and it will end them.

Petty greed from people seeking a big payday ironically might be the thing that saves our country.

Facebook succeeded in making an already stupid population even more stupid. I think we were far better off when it was limited to college students.

Don't know about that, but Facebook selectively passing data to leftist causes might well be a thing of the past.

And life will get infinitely better without having to read all the stupid things people come up with...

Great toilet material though.

Nope. Though I'd love to see it happen.

Good. This is how it should be handled. Congress and the government has absolutely no place in this issue. It’s between a private company and their customers.

If FB consumers are upset about data sharing practices of private companies, they can stop using their product. Or, if they feel Facebook violated their user agreement they can sue like this.

Having useless Congressional hearings for this is ridiculous.

You don’t think another social platform would step right in and fill the void?

And if no FB would improve your life that much, you have serious issues

This. Social media near singlehandedly destroyed informed discussion

ETA: Although I consider Twitter to be farm more harmful than Facebook. It’s truly incredible that our entire political discourse is now constrained to 280 characters.

Bet there’s a forced arbitration clause or a class action waiver in the terms of service.

That should present quite the dilemma for you principled conservatives.

Hopefully but it won't. It will get to a point where FB is the victim.....book it.

Why? This isn’t a principled conservative issue. It’s a private contract issue between Facebook and it’s customers.
