'A photo of four Michigan teens standing at attention for the national anthem is going viral.

Mike Ullery Jr. was walking into a high school football game in Midland, Michigan, on Friday when the pregame rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" began to play.

He noticed four Bullock Creek High School students who were also heading to the game stop in their tracks, remove their hats and place their hands over their hearts to salute the anthem and flag.'

Take that Crapernick!

I get your point wifey - and I agree. But you know what makes me certain we still have a long way to go in this country? The fact that this is in any way news worthy. I'm super proud of these kids, but there was a time not too long ago (and I'm only 51) when this kind of respectful behavior was the rule, not the exception. I hope we get back there sooner rather than later.

Oh boy, do I hear you! Agree 100%. But I figure we have to make sure this gets disseminated far and wide to counter, in however small a way, the royal BS proliferated by the dark regressive side.

I suppose you are against freedom of speech right?

The country I served allows its citizens the right of free expression and even if I disagree with what they have to say.

You can damn well bet I will defend that.

I doubt you understand what that means.

It means that you're either a lying back that mischaracterized the OP's post or that you were simply too stupid to understand that the OP didn't attack anyone's freedom of speech.

I understand what "not protesting while at work" means, too. Why is that so hard for you to understand?

Where did she suggest that he, (or you, for that matter), shouldn't be allowed to engage in his chosen douchebaggery? She simply pointed out that in the face of all the media praise for that piece of shite there are still kids being raised to be decent.

If your job gives you the freedom of express at work do you not express yourself?

I'm sure you hang lights around your cube at christmas right?

This is no different.

It just happens to be unpopular with the false patriot president bone spurs and his clan of trumpkins.

She did nothing to kapernick. He's still able to disrespect the flag all he wants now that he's not a QB in the NFL.

His free speech isnt in jeopardy nor was it ever. Drama cuck.

And, predictably, here you are AGAIN wasting my time...and everyone else's. We've already established your huge issues with reading comprehension and critical thinking.

Why would someone be against free speech because they don't like what someone is doing? Is that the new norm that the leftists have instilled in the minds of people today?

Some of us still support the rights of people to be disrespectful jerks even if we don't like that they are disrespectful jerks. We aren't leftists who try to petition the government to outlaw every behavior we don't like.

That doesn't mean that she was stating that Kapernick should be thrown in jail for his antics! Freedom of speech does not protect you from being called a piece of shite for your speech.

The only person being obtuse is you
