They have a lot of money. They can afford blackout curtains. And hell, look at nearby buildings with their lights on.

Dunno" =/= "nothing."
You literally just posted a "nothing to see here, move along" when presented with information that the White House is in a blackout and has been for days now.

That seems strange

Maybe some extra patrols of guys wearing NODs and they want to cut down on light pollution.

Ok, someone illuminate what I should be gleaning from the White House not having the lights on?

What is "interesting" about this event? Surely there are a myriad of reasons for why the lights might be off.

I mean, the obvious answer would be that there is a "security threat", right? The same damn "security threat" that is gripping the entire capitol apparently. Lights been out at the Capitol and the Washington Monument as well. But there aren't any riots. It doesn't make any sense.

The lights were on earlier tonight. I looked at the feed myself. What time did they go off? And are they supposed to be on all night?

They were out last Wed. As far as the days following, maybe someone else knows.

Nothing you posted in the above quote is unreasonable.

"It doesn't make any sense" is a good conclusion for those of us not in the military or intelligence.

Perhaps there are credible threats that we aren't aware of?

Perhaps they are there politically to keep up the facade that Trump is a dictator?

Or yes, there is even a small sliver of a percentage that they are there to overthrow the Government and reinstate Trump.

Use your reason to figure out what's more likely.

Perhaps so. This means it is a topic for serious discussion. I would hope people would treat it as such. These are important matters.

Guard is still there too. It is most likely the dems overreacting and trying to ride the OMB train as long as possible.

Well, if it even happens tomorrow night. But yeah, I'll do so. In the meantime, I think this deserves serious consideration.

Exactly there are number of reasons that could be the reason. That is what this thread is here, wanting to know what that reason is. Pretty simple.
