The Virginia Tech shooter killed 32 people with only 2 pistols.

Does anyone really think liberals would stop at a ban of certain guns like AR 15's or moving the age to buy a gun up to 21 when pistols can also be used for mass killings?

I think the majority of people here realize the main goal of this movement is a full on repeal of the Second Amendment.

Once we all “agree” it’s the legality of the weapon rather than the intentions of the individual, and future tragedies are no less lethal...

Jus not true. Someone posted a fact from MSNBC that bullets from pistols travel 1/3 the speed of AR15 bullets. Since bullets from pistols move so slow people can jump out of the way of them.
The VT shooter must have used a semi-auto assault rifle. The NRA then swooped in and planted those pistols on the shooter in an attempt to keep assault rifles from being targeted by the media.

Only if you let them. They make it incredibly difficult to get fully automatic weapons, but they haven't been able to push it any further.
They'll always want your guns, that's never going away. If you give up on AR-15s, they won't get anything else unless you let then.
