I don’t trust the CDC because their data directly contradicts every other nation and health group who has studied this and they have repeatedly lied through their teeth since day 1 about this virus.

Just look at the Israeli data for yourself.

While you are at it maybe you can point me towards one single instance in the history of virology in which vaccine acquired immunity has been shown to be more effective and diverse in response to alternate strains than naturally acquired immunity.

Anyone who has even looked at this in a superficial way knows that what the approach the CDC is taking makes no sense whatsoever.

The reason govt is downplaying natural immunity is bc they don’t want people to get infected on purpose to avoid getting the vaccine.

Right, they want to sell vaccines.
Never let a crisis go to waste.
If we don't have a crisis we will manufacture one.

Its the same thing most hospital administrators are saying. But then again, COVID is VERY good for business, so I'd expect nothing less.

Now ask them how they've managed to find themselves without beds when 75% of adults are now immunized from a less deadly strain that has only a 12% infection rate and hospitalization rate of 2%? Ask them how they found beds in an environment where NO ONE was vaccinated and there were 70% more daily cases and double the deaths with a more deadly strain?

re: The vaccine is working!
The feds are shelling out Billions to hospitals and healthcare providers to treat covid patients and hand out vaccines. All covid related healthcare reimbursements have been heavily "enhanced". It should surprise no one that the healthcare industry has been in absolute lock step with the administration. These people will retire on covid.

That was awesome!! Perhaps there is something in the vaccine that triggers more cases?

It almost sounds like you hope this is the case.

So you disagree with the WHO and aerosol spread. Interesting. About what else do you disagree with them?

Why would I waste time asking something I already know and that I've answered at least a dozen times here?

re: The vaccine is working!

CDC has studied it, and says you are twice as likely to get infected if you have natural immunity vs. getting the vaccine.

The findings in this report are subject to at least five limitations.

1. Reinfection was not confirmed through whole genome sequencing, which would be necessary to definitively prove that the reinfection was caused from a distinct virus relative to the first infection.

2. Persons who have been vaccinated are possibly less likely to get tested. Therefore, the association of reinfection and lack of vaccination might be overestimated.

3. Vaccine doses administered at federal or out-of-state sites are not typically entered in Kentucky Immunization Registry, so vaccination data are possibly missing for some persons in these analyses. In addition, inconsistencies in name and date of birth between Kentucky Immunization Registry and National Electronic Disease Surveillance System might limit ability to match the two databases. Because case investigations include questions regarding vaccination, and Kentucky Immunization Registry might be updated during the case investigation process, vaccination data might be more likely to be missing for controls.

4. Although case-patients and controls were matched based on age, sex, and date of initial infection, other unknown confounders might be present (health status?).

5. This is a retrospective study design using data from a single state during a 2-month period; therefore, these findings cannot be used to infer causation.

What don't you understand? Last September, people were largely quarantined and there was no Delta. Now, it's the opposite.

Now do a little infographic on current acuity vs last September.

I can't tell if this is facetious or not. There are 5X+ the infections currently and deaths are only 47% higher. Seems like it would be hard to find a stronger endorsement of the vaccines than that.

Because you could also attribute it to a significant increase in natural immunity due to the majority of the population having encountered covid at some point in the past 20 months.

Yes, I don't have a problem with figuring out the quantum of that effect and factoring it in. But the OP on its own does not successfully make the point it believes it is making.

About 60% of hospital revenue comes from surgery. Facilities slowing or halting surgical services during a CV19 surge are underperforming revenue.

I think the primary issue is people taking the very incomplete and in most cases flawed data we possess, and making definitive claims about vaccine efficacy with it.

We simply can't make many definitive claims from the data we have available. Too many missing variables at this time. For that reason, while vaccines should be available to those who wish to have them, mandates absolutely should not be in effect.

The pandemic is clearly on a wane. That’s due to a number of factors. The vaccine is almost certainly one of those factors.

As long as we don’t pretend the flu is Covid at the end of October, we should be good to go in getting back to normal.

I don't know, man. I think there's plenty of rush to judgment and politicized "data", but it looks pretty clear that the vaccines diminish acuity.
