You do realize only a very small percentage of Americans ever owned slaves including those who fought for the Confederacy right?

You do realize that the Union army forced Irish immigrants fresh off the boat into Army service even though a sizable number of their Irish ancestors were enslaved by the very Union back family that was forcing them to fight for their cause (which was taxes) a century prior. But you don’t want to have that conversation.

Louisiana had a black man own the most in the state at one point. Well it was north of Alec if you considered that still Louisiana
