A very small minority of people have original thoughts of their own. Social media is a gigantic mistake in many ways, this site included. In the past we would identify the people who had thinking skills and they would ascend to areas to shape policy and business among their own.

The rest would have rolls given to them that didn’t require much thinking, and they would be happy in their life.

Democracy is a mistake, and so is social media, which is more or less democracy of language.

Threads should get nuked for that, so there is more density of high impact and easily accessible information no the first page. It would take us all more time per thread but we'd get more yield per minute spent on the board.
