ChazChaz lays it out. Well worth the watch.

Not sure how to change link, but it’s legit.

It's not a secret to anybody that there's a gigantic, smoldering divide between the two sides of the political spectrum in this country that is only widening.

Blaming it SOLELY on "The Left" is laughable. Blame in on the Main Stream Media, Social Media, the disconnection of individuals from society, or whatever. But both sides have moved away from the other and continue to do so. It's just that when you're standing on one side of the divide, it feels like your feet have stayed put.

Believe me, the radical left thinks it's solely The Right's fault, too. They're just as blind.

So tell what exactly are the issues that conservatives have moved farther right? From my perspective, the Dems have gone screaming to left as fast as they can.

MSM and social media are extensions of the left so blaming the left is not that far off.

I'm just dying to know how conservatives have changed in any way.

Justin Amash didn't leave the party because he was always an extreme outsider. McCain and Romney aren't mocked by current conservatives because they were unusually liberal outliers their whole careers. Read how much criticism there is here for RINOs or most of the GOP establishment.

The Tea Party takeover alone changed the party massively.

There's a 528 article on how much the GOP has changed since Bush Senior but I'm not sure links to that site are allowed here.

the GOP has evolved, like the DNC. The bush/McCain/Ryan/Romney days are over bc all of those guys are globalist frauds. They were all once dangerous Nazis when they were in control of the RNC, but the second they’re out of power, they become leftist heros bc they stand against trump.

There are many factions here. Simply using Rs and Ds to figure out teams ignores the establishment element and the nuances of politics.

Wonderfully written post!

Replace every R with a D and every D with an R and it's just as true. There are sides and factions among liberals and the D party that don't get along at all and have very different opinions.

Yet everyone treats all liberals as a single monolith of ideas and opinions. That's exactly what I'm on about.

Democrats hate being exposed. Remember Seth Rich?
