The Tell of Two Presidents

For eight years we had Obama who was doted on by his fanbase and 90% of the media. He accomplished very little for this country in a good way that had a positive effect for the vast majority of us. He excelled in making speeches that made him appear intelligent to those who worshipped him. Those on the right had a dislike for him but not a deep-seated hatred. They had little if any faith in his way of governing. He expressed little pride of this country to the world but apologized continuously for our success of our country in the annals of history.
For less than three years now we have had Trump who takes great pride in what this nation has become with no apologies offered for our success. The same people who loved Obama with all their sincerity hate this current president with a passion never seen before in American politics. Even though Trump has governed from a platform of what is good for the majority of Americans the constant hatred from the left and the media has stymied his attempts in what many if not most, if we're being honest here, think is good for this country.
Socials issues, such as Obama's platform espoused at the forefront of his politics, does not help a country strive to a successful ending without the many other factors include that are needed for a strong nation. Trump opines the best way for a country to succeed and lead is with a strong economic resume which in turn abets other parts of the government needed to give a nation positive standing either in a national way or a global way with the hope of accomplishing both.
Two presidents, two tells. Both are rather evident.

For as much as I dislike Trump, I hated Obama 1000000000000x more. What I do appreciate about both men is how they've unequivocally exposed the media and their biases.

The dummy is on you. You ever heard of a tell when playing cards? Most players have a tell. So do these two presidents. You swung and missed with my title.

As opposed to the hate being displayed to Trump, I'd say disliking Obama is a pretty accurate description. I don't recall any republican politicians calling out for physical confrontations with those on the left like we have heard from the left.

It was before my time on PT, so there's no post history to confirm it, but I really tried to give Obama a chance.
I voted for McNoname over Obama, and then wrote in Mickey Mouse in 2012 because I couldn't stand either... but I really did try to give Hussein the benefit of the doubt at first.
It was about 2010 when I realized, without a shadow of doubt, that the DNC, MSM Propaganda Machine, and the globalist elites were all in cahoots. Obama literally hadn't done anything positive for America, whatsoever, at all, but he was receiving oratory fellatio all day long from most every news network and publication worldwide...
It was far beyond bizarre, and overtly obvious... all the "crackpot conspiracy" stuff had some real merit.
In 2016 I didn't vote for Trump. Liked him, but thought he was just saying what he needed to say to get elected, and had no intention of following through. I was a Ben Carson supporter all the way, and then Cruz after Dr. Carson dropped. I wrote in Mickey Mouse again, because I despised Hillary.
Fast forward to present day, and I will be casting my vote for Trump in 2020. I was wrong about him. I still don't agree with some of his yankee style and Tweeter game, but the man is all action and has produced undeniable and almost miraculous results...
All while he stands alone. Very few "Republicans" actually stand with him. He also faces the most deep-rooted and organized, systemic opposition that I've ever seen in my life... yet he keeps chugging along and getting things done.
We are fricked when the Deep State takes control again.

I thought this was going to be a poker thread. Kind of disappointed, honestly.
