Do you know why? Because you're always going to do whatever it takes to please other people. Youre a prisoner of public opinion

I would rather smell weed than puke and piss all over Bourbon street. We have turned a blind eye to that for a while.

Marijuana use disorder is mental, not physical and affects less than 10% of users.
Good lord. This is as poorly informed as the Reefer Madness nonsense.
Marijuana use disorder can be mental and/or physical.
Some studies have shown percentages of pot users who suffer from Marijuana usage disorder as high as 30%.
It is also not the only medical issue associated with dependency on marijuana. Marijuana usage can lead to increased risk of stroke, heart disease and other vascular issues.
Marijuana usage is associated with an increase risk of psychosis.
Daily long-term users can develop cannabinoid-induced hyperemesis. This is a rare but increasing phenomena.

How has it affected your life negatively?
While not affecting my life directly, ask a school worker in an area with legalized marijuana if they’ve seen an increase in neglect of children by parents who use pot chronically.
Maybe we’ll get some data on this in the upcoming years.

We'll talk when you arrive in the 1940s.

Pot-smoking, only fans whores are the heroes. People being productive society members with morals and values are the “trash.”
False.
If you’re dependent on pot, you’re trash. Get your shite together.

Your argument on this is personal and shitty.

That's why I can't take the "muh pot" libertarians seriously. It's their #1 issue, while the other factors that DO make pot use impact others are given lip service and little else. They're not nearly as agitated about free school lunches as they are about not being able to blaze up in the park.

No. It’s concern for the social fabric of the country. That’s still allowed. And I don’t even have to advocate for a change in laws. I can still legally shame the shitty parts of society which you seem intent on occupying.
Be better.

I can personally attest to this from my youth.
People can try and sanitize it all they want, weed is trashy.
Been there done that.

This is why no one takes Lolbertarians seriously.
Advocating for a better society and culture isn’t “Karenism.” It’s being an adult. It’s recognizing the interconnectedness of the human experience. It’s accepting that Natural Law is a real thing.
Take your Libtertinism and shove it up your arse with an edible. You’re not making the world a better place by blazing a joint. No matter how many times you tell yourself that.

A strong society will advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves. They need not even advocate for a change in legislation when they advocate for a better society.
