The slippery slope isn’t real

If the confederate flag is banned every where that doesn’t mean they will eventually go after the American flag. If we take down all of the confederate statues, they will not come after other historical figures.
If we ban assault rifles, they will not come after all other guns. Stop being so paranoid.

some CNN talking head was already saying they need to get rid of everything related to Jefferson and Washington....it most certainly WILL go beyond the Confederate generals statues and military base names.

You had me at first but Jefferson and Washington are already in the cross hairs and It’s only a matter of time before they come after all weapons. I think it’s frustrating to the media left already that they can’t impose their will on the entire populace.

Creeping socialism is a real thing. It’s been going on since at least the FDR administrations and it’s an actual slippery slope because it’ll never be enough for marxists.
The first gun control legislation I know about offhand was passed in 1934. Others were passed in the 60s, 80s, and 90s. That’s an actual slippery slope because it’ll never be enough for gun control nuts.
