Flake never called for an amendment. He must’ve told Feinstein that he would but he did not

My understanding is that DJ T would have to ask for the FBI to investigate. And he is not going to do that.

He said in the meeting that he has no power to delay a vote. I'm don't think he was surprised by what Grassley did at all.

That committee alone cannot call for an FBI investigation. It has to be done by somebody else so essentially the Democrats are just pissing in the wind

Agree. There is a firm timeline and it is specific to Ford's claims. This isn't a murder trial. It won't go over. FBI coming out and saying there is no evidence will be embarrassing for Dems.
