The Right to Try bill needs to be a huge campaign fight used against dems

Senate passed a bill unanimously and 140 dems in the house voted against it defeating it in the house!
Here are their words:
More harm than DEAD?
False hope in the face of death is now bad...
SO!
Here are their words:
quote:
FDA is part of the process for a reason: it protects patients from potentially bad actors or from experimental treatments that might do more harm than good.”
More harm than DEAD?
quote:
“The last thing I want to do is give patients false hope and to put them at risk” by reducing the FDA’s powers, said Rep. Frank Pallone of New Jersey, top Democrat on the Energy and Commerce panel.
False hope in the face of death is now bad...

“The vast majority of people” granted access to unproven treatments “are using a drug that doesn’t work,”

Yeah but if they die from some new treatment than how can we keep billing them? Best to try and stretch out their lives as long as we can right?

Well it will bring up a very grey line, what if there are other options available? What if your disease is treatable and it is not necessarily terminal? How many malpractice lawsuits are going to come from this? I am all for this idea, but it needs to be executed very well, so that the system is not abused and the FDA is seriously undermined.

This dealt with terminal.

Par for the course. The nwo agenda continues. Depopulation, Agenda 2030.

Oh look a conspiracy theory circle jerk on a form where no one believes in stupid conspiracies.

I'll repeat my post from the 1st thread regarding this issue:
if the Republicans are going to politicize this, all you need to point out the communist's long con. Feed you something for free, then slowly but surely chip away at your rights in exchange for that same shitty item. Calm, passive sheep.

this is about Obamacare
Rule #1 of The DNC Communist Manifesto: take away the rights of the citizens to make choices for themselves

Then this doesn't apply.
If your physician has given you only two outlooks, death or try a drug that isn't FDA approved, the patient should have the option of choosing the drug.
The government interceding and telling the patient "no" just doesn't seem right.

quote:Might. People know there's no guarantee. Personally, I'd prefer to die trying to live rather than lying in bed waiting to go.
might do more harm than good.
quote:Hope is never false, imo, and the word itself implies no guarantee. If I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow, then it rains, my hope that it wouldn't was not false. It just didn't pan out. Advise the patient and let them choose their path.
false hope

The vast majority of people” granted access to unproven treatments “are using a drug that doesn’t work
just my take on terminal illness treatments

This is an overarching issue that I don’t understand why the GOP doesn’t use in campaigns more. Fear mongering is a great tactic. The Democrats use it almost exclusively.
It’s time to start calling out the Left for who they really are and want to be.

Personally, if I'm on death's door I don't see why I wouldn't try a new drug if given a choice.
Best case scenario I'm cured.
Worst case scenario I die(surprise!) and help some pharma company figure out was wrong with their product, helping someone else down the line a metric fethton more than testing some mice would.

Seems like it would impose complete chaos on the scientific trials.
ETA: They could nickname the bill "The Bridget Donovan Law" and say it also stands to reduce gun violence. NRA would love it.

They just need to make a statement like on cigarettes that the feds don't know on this and its not failed or passed rigorous testing.
