The reason the FBI did not investigate is not what you think...

Some say they dismissed it because it is frivolous/not true/hack job. I dont believe that is the case. I believe if they did investigate it, and she lies to them, they will be forced to throw her arse in jail, and expose the fraud.
Far better to let it just hang out there.
Im surprised they did not take it, you know "methods" and such cant be disclosed, and keep it an ongoing secret investigation for six years. Unable to appoint another judge until the case is resolved, or the dems take the senate, whichever happens first.

Uh....Feinstein gave it to the Feds because they do background checks on federal appointees, last time I looked a SCJ was a federal employee.
And yes lying to the FBI is a crime.

It is because there is zero chance for charges
For one, it would be a weak case of he said she said, and all the credible witness would be on the accussed's side
For two, even if there was a crime (there's not); the statute of limitations is long passed
This is not a matter for the FBI

When has this ever happened in a false accusation of rape or sexual assault? It is obvious this is a con job and they are throwing up a hailmary to try and stop this conformation. Hopefully, the GOP has the sack to call a spade a spade and confirm him.

Or, it could be, the FBI did its job and added the info to it's already existing background check and turned the information over to the Whitehouse.

I’d imagine it’s ton of factors.... not a federal crime, statute of limitations, nothing for them to do except pass it along as ‘information’
