No one in the media called it The Big Lie when Democrats questioned the 2000 election. Democrats are STILL questioning the 2016 election, saying that Trump and the Russians colluded to steal the election, and no one in the media calls that The Big Lie

Btw, I posted this on a Microsoft political forum group and while it originally got past the Microsoft filters, they quickly removed it when the post started getting responses from other Conservatives

Clearly, the propaganda has not been particularly effective.

No kidding.

They don’t even believe it. Someone made it up so they just kept repeating it hoping it would become a thing.

Nothing like that ever becomes a thing bc you try to make it a thing.

It has to happen like Let’s Go Brandon (which is still my favorite spontaneous political thing to happen ever. It still makes me laugh).

I just assume “the big lie” refers to the claim that Biden won.

This morning on CNBC, Andrew Ross Sorkin, who is a crybaby liberal if there ever was one, said something like "considering the vast majority of election deniers are republicans..." and the guest on the show said "I didn't know Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, and Stacey Abrams were republicans that's interesting".

There is absolutely no room for democrats to complain about election deniers. Zero. But we all konw "thats (D)ifferent"

The November 2020 election theft was well planned and coordinated.

"The Big Lie" is a term used by Hitler in Mein Kampf, although I assume he wrote it in German.

It means a lie that is so outrageous and incredible that people will assume it must be true or you wouldn't be saying it.

It is a term that applied very well to "The Kraken" and the claims regarding Dominion voting machines. Hell, people on this very forum were saying Sydney Powell would not risk her reputation spouting this stuff unless it were true. Then she admitted no one ever should have believed her.

Does "The Big Lie" apply to other 2020 election conspiracies? I'm not sure, but since the Trump team is admitting they lacked evidence to support their claims it is debatable.

No lying was involved in the 2020 election. The facts were not in dispute. It was all legal wrangling.. The Florida vote was the closest Presidential vote in a single state in history. The difference was in the 100s. Al Gore was entitled to a recount, and all the legal wrangling centered on just how the votes should be counted.

Ultimately, it turned out there should have been a statewide recount, and Gore likely would have won. But time was up, and Gore accepted defeat, presided over the electoral count, and attended the inauguration.

2016 is a little different, because I'm not even sure what Dems are claiming. Russian hackers clearly tried to influence the election, but I don't know if anyone has claimed they altered the vote count or anything. If they have claimed that, it could be "The Big Lie"

The phrase “Election denier” is part of the same orchestrated propaganda operation. It’s intended to ridicule and ostracize people that think the election was rigged.

There are no conservatives, nor liberals anymore.

I predicted when Trump took office that the trumpites would reject conservatism because Trump is a low info populist, and I was right.

No one can fix past elections, people need to stop focusing on stuff you cannot change. Its over, move on.
