And bureaucrats is exactly why Trump won 2016 in the first place. This impeachment “inquiry” plays right into his hands and allows him to run on that message again. It won’t end well for Democrats.

If they come up empty which is looking pretty likely then I agree

I can't fathom this playing well during the run up to the election

These bureaucrats don't realize that the prez sets foreign policy.

The repubs need to ask every witness:
Who sets foreign policy?
Did you carry out the foreign policy set by prez Trump?
Did you disagree with his policy? If so, why?

The irony

That removes Trumps only defense re: requesting an investigation of Biden

The irony ?

The fact that you are an imbecile and plague on this board aside, an "irony" if you need one is that Joe Biden not only committed the crime that Trump is accused of but also admitted to it. That is the irony. Not one fact has been provided by the Democrats to show that Trump has done this yet the fact IS that Joe Biden not only did get the prosecutor fired for investigating his son but he self admitted to it. That is irony. Idiot.

Normally, I would agree that Republicans aren’t much better than Democrats. But with Paul Ryan and some of the other pussies gone, I think Republicans can get a lot more done to advance the America First agenda when they regain the House in 2020.

Biden Article

quote:

Joe Biden was so proud of his role in the prosecutor’s removal from investigating the company paying his son $50,000 per month merely to serve on its board that he actually bragged about it in a 2018 speech at an event for the publication Foreign Affairs. In this speech, Biden boasts his threat to withhold $1 billion in U.S. loans from Ukraine if they did not agree to fire the prosecutor who happened to be investigating the company giving his son a cushy sinecure.
The prosecutor was fired, and the investigation was dropped six months later.

career politicians

This kept coming up during the last election between Rispone attacking Abraham for being a career politician (he’s been in office since 2015, what a frickin career politician). Rispone proved he was quite willing to lie to get power, despite not being the "career politician". And now you’re stuck with JBE.

I wouldn’t get too caught up in it and instead try to take a hard look at the real person you’re voting for. "Non career politicians" can be every bit as lying and deceitful, and they’ll absolutely use the "I’m not one of them" tactics to deceive you.

How do you explain the video of Biden bragging at the CFR about giving the Ukrainian leaders 6 hours to fire the person looking into Hunter it he was withholding funds?

If Trump wants to seal the deal for his 2020 re-election he needs to start pushing for congressional term limits...., Democrats that aren’t actually Swamp Dwellers are okay with term limits.

Waste of time arguing with Comrade Bmy…the best approach to someone like that is to ignore them.

It's like arguing with an ostrich. That head will just go in the sand because they refuse to see the truth.
