I cannot understand how you guys just insist that 200,000 people doing this is indicative of anything. Or sends any type of message about the will of he public. Everyone already knows where Trump’s base stands.
Ok. Here is how you understand it.
Say Kamala Harris announces her candidacy for president. A go fund me account is set up for campaign contributions. It raises 12 million dollars in 4 days with zero corporate, celebrity, or other large contributions. And it hits 200k individual donors.
Be honest. How would CNN, MSNBC, the alphabets, and every liberal right down on this board react to it.

Muhhh, but Trump said MEXICO would pay for it, idiots.
The fact, liberals, is when Trump said he's building a wall, my junk stood up like a Christmas Tree. Even though his plan is to get funding from other sources, I am more than fine with him getting it any way necessary. In fact, given the political climate, and more importantly the state of the job market since he's taken office, I would much rather the US pay for it. The sole reason I want us to pay for it is because half of the money would come from you liberals, and to me, a raise in taxes to see your collective heads explode would be worth it tenfold.

Based on polling data, support for the wall has been around 43%. How are the donations of a few hundred thousand indicative of support levels greater than the already 100M+ currently estimated to support building a wall?

frick it. I donated again. I might just give a little more every day.

I'd rather give money than resort to violence

I'm amazed how this gofundme for the wall has triggered so many MSM leftists that they want the page shut down.

Keep saying what?
That I believe the polling data that posits over 100,000,000 Americans support the building of a wall on the US/Mexico border?
Or that I support people's right to donate their money to whatever they like, even if I think it's silly?

You know it.
I just want to see the number rise to an amount where everybody is like "Holy shite. Just look at this!"

you continue to shine on this board
Based on how dull it tends to be, that really doesn't take much
I'm willing to concede that just under half of this country wants to spend money to build a wall. If you aren't good with that, I suppose I can join the chorus of "congrats on your .5% of the population lulz".

I mentioned it to my Dad and some of his oldie pals and they kicked in themselves. I'm just wondering where/when it finally stops

Great job everyone, the way the government spends money you just funded a 3 foot wall about 6 feet wide.
Guess we're all just going to accept the lie that they were going to pay for it huh

I think it's hilarious that they actually believe that the majority of Americans are against a wall.. and for open borders and illegal immigration..

in reference to the ladder campaign.
maybe this has been brought up, but wouldn't it be aiding and abetting ? Advertised online lol. I say law enforcement should pay these people a visit and make them understand what it is they are promoting.
