The missing secret service texts. Who is the secret service protecting?

I don't really know what you're talking about, but whenever a government entity classifies something, or some bit of information is missing that involves that agency, 99 times out of 100 it's to protect the agency's/entity's arse and has nothing to do with national security, or anyone not affiliated with the agency/entity.

The only people who have the power to disappear those texts in this context are the people holding the show trial. No way secret service texts were disappeared like that

Some J6 committee member saw the texts & realized they were nothing burgers & decided, delete them & we can claim it’s destroyed evidence re: Trump attacking SS agents, etc, etc…

The main purpose of the agency is to protect the president. It's built to protect them from bullets and scandal.

Some texts go missing from Secret Service agents and we need to have congressional hearings.
Some servers goes missing belonging to the Secretary of State after US Embassy is attacked in Benghazi and US diplomats are killed and it's no big deal.
My thoughts are that Washington is scared that Trump got too close to who is pulling the strings and they need help from the media to stop him.
