I think the obsession is not that he tweets, its the subject of those tweets.

This is the big issue. They don't have a chance to sprinkle his words with their opinion/views before the public sees it.

Of course the biased media isn't going to agree with the subjects of his tweets when he is tweeting about how fraudulent and unethical said media is.

Because they still don't get it.

More than once, I have seen a "news story" being discussed on a network where the talking heads are putting their spin on the situation. Then moderator says, "Well, Trump tweeted out_____" which is to the contrary of the point they are trying to make, and they dismiss the tweet.

It's his own words instead of their spin, so they don't like it. They still don't understand that this is the exact reason people think they are corrupt. They are feeding right into his playbook.

You are, of course, at least partially correct.

But why is this news? Anyone that wants to know what he tweets can just sign up to get them.

It's because the news can't just tell us what happened. The GUARDIANS OF DEMOCRACY have to interpret things for us lowly citizens and tell us what to think about those 140 characters. America might fail as an institution if they didn't break it down for us. They are there to serve as philosopher-kings who tell us cave dwellers what is true and what is shadow.

Media's pissed because Trump has figured out a way in getting his message out while doing an end run around the media's biased questions that would normally be asked in a press conference.

Good for him I say.

I label it as less obsession and more Did He Just Say That?

collectively the MSM reaches a shite ton of people. i wouldn't sit there for 4 years and let them say that kind of shite without defending myself or correcting the record.

it's a numbers game. the guy is a genius at ad marketing and anyone who doesn't agree with that by now, is a mark for advertisers.

people kept pointing this out, but the hardest part of the battle is being seen and heard...is he supposed to roll down the window in his limousine and shout at people on the streets?

Yet if a Dem was doing it we wouldn't hear a peep. Nothing will ever be as outrageous as an interview of a fat chick, Froot Loops, milk and a bathtub by our current lame duck president..

I hope Trump tweets his NCAA tourney picks just to see how they handle it.

If he really wants to make them melt, he'll Tweet the nightly Nielsen ratings vs his follower numbers and remind them that's how many more people he's reaching without it costing him a dime.
