I mean, we could all just accept everything the government tells us as gospel truth, and if they withhold information we could just accept that they're doing so in our best interest, and they don't actually owe us anything beyond what they deem appropriate. I'm not quite that trusting.

If lawmakers are involved like you suggest, what compelling reason would they have to cooperate? I am assuming you are suggesting public hearings, correct? Who would lead the public hearings if not the same said politicians?

The MSM "love " for Massie and MTG should be no surprise. The MSM is the Marxist Dem propaganda machine. They will push anything that they believe is negative for Trump.
How folks don't recognize this is remarkable. It's plain as day and is called out often.
I have said many times here, once folks accept the reality of the MSM loyalty to the Marxist Dems, things make much more sense.

The flip side to this coin is that Massie and MTG would not be objects of derision by many in the MAGA camp if they didn’t oppose Trump on some issue or initiative.
Trump — and many MAGA posters on this very forum — would do well to remember that both MTG and Massie were staunch defenders of Trump when the MSM were conducting witch hunts against Trump and the MAGA faithful.
MTG indeed took tremendous heat in the MSM for suggesting that it is Epstein’s clients — and not Trump — that should be facing prosecution:
