I posted this in the stickied thread but it should be everywhere.
Other people have expressed similar sentiments. The hate towards Rush is a badge of honor. A badge that we should all hope to earn.

If you're a religious person and believe a person that's died has gone onto to some better place, then the hateful comments from some living a-hole clearly would not bother them at this point.
If you're a non-believer and think that when a person dies they simply cease to exist, again, the comments of some living a-hole will have no effect on them any longer.
Either way, the person they are talking about is unaffected by their comments, so there is no reason to feel the need to be protective of them in their passing.
The comments being made, whether they realize or not, are being aimed AT YOU. They are being made to get a rise out of YOU. Much like deciding to allow someone to cancel you, it's up to you to decide if you're going to allow someone to get the better fo you and upset you by these things.
Decide to not give them that.

In fairness there were people celebrating the deaths of RBG and McCain (Here on TD the cheers were plentiful), but those were a fraction of the whole. Conservatives by and large were sending out best wishes and condolences.

My beef is... huge media entities weighing in and celebrating his death. It's creepy...because huge media entities gave more respect to the head of isis..than to rush.
