The left and Never Trumpers are moving the goal posts on "Witch Hunt"

They're trying to convince us that the witch hunt was not about going after the Trump campaign for allegedly colluding with Russians but rather just Russia interfering with the election.
They're trying to ignore that was the very basis of this sordid affair and Mueller's appointment, hell it was even mentioned in Rosenstein's order (which btw is a grand spectacle of cuckery mind you) and now they're subtly backing off Collusion claims.
You can already see them tip toeing and hemming and hawing around it when they get asked if Trump colluded with the Russians or not. They so desperately want to say yes but they can't do that without looking like an idiotic hack that's not worth talking to.

Today should be the end of the Mueller investigation. They’ve been digging into this for over a year and basically came out and said...we found these hackers that got into something but no American citizens knew or where in involved. That’s it. End of story.
Sessions needs to come out of witness protection and shut it down or give Mueller a hard and short deadline to present his findings.. That’s it. It’s over.

Even Mueller told Team Trump that the President is not a suspect and is not under investigation and yet the left, the media and Never Trumpers are still carrying on with the collusion nonsense.
Just setting themselves up for disappointment, a very big one.

Why did this require an "independent" counsel? Couldn't the regular ole DOJ handle that?

Clearly started with Manaforts when Mueller admitted last week to a judge that his case specifically had nothing to do with Russia collusion.

They have always conflated the two to make Trump look wrong either way.
Edit : to be fair, Trump and the GOP have done a poor job articulating the difference between the two since Russia’s interference is really Obama’s failure since there were numerous warnings well before the election.
