What's funnier is they know they can't do it again. They got exposed despite their protestations and now the spotlight is on fiscal versus DACA. It will absolutely be about protecting illegals if they try to pull this shite again.

The "key" is Donald Trump Tweets. The Man can frame the Narrative in the space of 30 seconds. In the old days, the MSM drove the Narrative, and but for Fox (who many refused to accept as credible, because the Dems/MSM had branded them)...but those days are over.

It was easy to brand the Dems as caring for Illegals over and above our Military. No way they wanted Trump to give the SOTU Address with that on the table. Game, set and match.

this was a test over the weekend to see how the narrative would play out in the press, who would get the blame in the shutdown...

Had the narrative gone Schumer and the democrats way with the republicans getting all the blame as to why government workers were not getting paid they would still be holding out and exploiting the American workers to gain as much traction as they could for the fall mid-terms to seize back power, that is all they care about...

Since they were getting the blame #SchumerCaved quickly before anymore damage was done...
