They were FBI funded and led, staffed with agents and actors. It was easy to tell at the time because they looked nothing like any white supremacist rally I had ever seen before, but more like what some SJW at Dartmouth imagines a white supremacist to look like.

Funny you ask, because it never occurred to me that they were anything other than a handful of actual idiots, but after seeing the guys at the fake rally from a few weeks ago I began to wonder if it too was not just a set up to give the press something to hit Trump with.

BTW, after the photo made it's rounds, I don't recall any of these fellas being outed as anything other than Feds. That is to say, does anyone remember any of these guys coming out and saying, "Nah...I work at a Home Depot in Iowa."
Given the fact that if there WERE any legit people at this rally they'd have been plugged into news about it afterwards, what are the chances these fellas were NOT Feds since none of them came forward to claim otherwise?

They were actors mixed with fed plants...you can find some of the feds in the group pics.

You know. I’ve lived in the Deep South my entire life and I’ve never once came across a white supremacist/KKK rally of any kind.
I have seen numerous civil rights and a couple of BLM demonstrations, though…

I've always found it very strange that there are multiple pictures of the tiki torch marchers but I've never seen any mass effort to 'out' them.

A few were fired from their jobs in a few articles I read at the time.
Most of them weren't exactly working high-flying jobs but one or two had more prestigious jobs they were let go from.

It does seem dumb. I mean, Jews are what, 1% of the population and not increasing? Why would anyone be afraid of Jews replacing them?
