He lays it out.

It is incredible how right he was.

That speech was dead on for that period and rings true today.

Reagan, as president, was exceptional, yet the media of the day was disparaging him as too old and out of touch.

Not much has changed in the media’s relationship to a Republican president in nigh on 70 years.

Watched all of it and it was great. While he looked down to his notes a few times there was no teleprompter which made it seem like he was talking from the heart. As previously stated those words rung true back then and ring true today. :usa: :usa: :usa: :usa:

Unbelievable.

When, fricking WHEN, will Republicans figure out that the Liberal playbook is never changing? The insults and derision of Republicans from the Left hasn't changed in over half a century. Every candidate in every election is a trigger happy unstable idiot who kills poor minorities and the elderly. It never changes, so quit cowering to it.

Easy there. Trump is turning out to be a damn good president, but he is no Ronaldus Magnumus.

God bless Ronald Reagan. God bless Nancy Davis's Father, too, who was primarily responsible for redpilling Reagan.

I used to be a Kennedy, grassy knoll skeptic, but after seeing this coup unravel, I'm almost ready to believe that my government will do anything to anyone to achieve what they want, so that certain people remain in power. The unelected Federal Bureaucrat is the greatest threat to the survival of the country.

President Reagan is the greatest American president in that he resurrected the American spirit and conscience after woeful Carter years and Watergate. But President Trump has proven himself the greatest President of all in unleashing American Prosperity. Both are gifted similarly and are the GOAT for different eras.

Unfortunately, I think you've got it.

Just to show you how DEEP the Deep State is, even Reagan played an unwitting role in helping to perpetuate the corrupt cabal. Of all people, Reagan picked George H. W. Bush as his VP running mate, thus propping up that Establishment thug and global elitist as the frontrunner to win the presidency in 1988, which began the erosion of everything Reagan had done.

And yes, your comment on JFK was what caused me to think of GHWB. I have strong suspicions regarding that CIA thug and his potential involvement in Kennedy's assassination.

Great man, great speech.

BUT, SOME who think like he did, are the ONLY ones to hear him. It frustrates me that these truths, are heard by so few.

Until the MEDIA provides at least some measure of balanced reporting, I fear that our freedoms are in real peril. It’s hard to recognize the excremental erosion taking place.

I’m old, so it’s easier to see the changes, and I fear for my grandchildren.

Burn in Hell, lydon johnson.

I pray for my country.

The GOAT? For real?

Just another lying politician. I couldn’t make it passed the first 2 mins. The smug POS lead off with lip service to budgets, size of gov’t, and the debt. Oh really?

quote:

During Reagan's presidency, the federal debt held by the public nearly tripled in nominal terms, from $738 billion to $2.1 trillion.

I’ve never understood The idolatry of this guy. It must be the “defeat of the Soviet Union” that does it for folks.

Probably not that hard to grasp if you think about your idolatry of obama...and reverse it.

Do keep in mind this speech was over 15yrs prior to his terms. Also, don't underestimate the Senate/house effect on a presidency.

At least he was pro-America, not like your boy.
