The FOURTH branch of government

Yesterday’s events have left me shell shocked.
The staggering overreach by (unelected) government bureaucracy should serve as your daily reminder of just how far divorced the federal government has become from its citizens.
The United States Constitution provides for three branches of government. Yet the amount of power federal bureaucracy wields—power not under the control of we the people in the same way our elected representatives theoretically are—is chilling.
In 2021 the federal government included 2,763,803 full-time civilian employees from 120 federal agencies. This number does not include part-time workers and/or the following behemoth group(s): Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, Central Intelligence Agency, Defense Intelligence Agency, foreign service personnel at the State Department, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, National Security Agency, Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Office of the Vice President, Postal Regulatory Commission, Tennessee Valley Authority, U.S. Postal Service, White House Office, foreign nationals overseas, Public Health Service’s Commissioned Officer Corps, non-appropriated fund employees, selected legislative branch agencies, the judicial branch, or the military.
What will you personally do about it?

Nothing worse than a pussy egging on a fight with his hands in his pockets.

So what are you doing in the thread?
Posted on 8/5/22 at 9:35 am to EKG
Personally? I did it during Obama... I consolidated, divested from my business interests, sold a couple of small businesses, moved money to land, etc... Tried to get as "small" personally and pay as little taxes as humanly possible...
I no longer have a desire to support this country in any manner...

So what are you doing in the thread?
He made the suggestion. I was trying to gain understanding of his path forward.

Vote Libertarian. Donate to the state and national Libertarian Party. Engage locally with my state party.
Before some clown comes in talking about 'muh wasted vote', remember this: no Republican administration in the last 40 years has done ANYTHING to reduce the size and scope of the federal gov't. I know people love Reagan, but they conveniently forget him escalating military spending to 'beat' the Russians in the Cold War.

He begged the question of what will others do to get control of the massive government agencies. So your answer is a question to him. Thanks for playing.

I’m not looking to turn this thread into yet another endorsement of my activism.
Suffice it to say I’m a member of the leadership team of a movement leading the effort to part company with said bureaucracy.
