The left is absolutely terrified of opposing viewpoints. They all know beyond any shadow of a doubt that there is simply no way they can compete with conservative principles in a free marketplace of ideas so they shut them down and silence them every chance they get. Not just tech companies but also the tv media and academia.

There is way too much power concentrated in the hands of a few tech giants. These giants are obviously conspiring with one another. I don't see how anyone can argue this isn't as big of threat to democracy as Standard Oil was.

And this shows why we need to regulate these companies. The whole “free market” idea of “just create a competing platform if you don’t like this one” doesn’t work if google, Apple, Facebook, YouTube, etc don’t allow it. These people have monopolized control of the Internet and what’s going on is extremely terrifying. They’re going to purge any opposing viewpoints off the mainstream internet
