Portland was a beautiful city, that everyone wanted to move to, and in some parts still is if you go to the right areas. I was there about 8 years ago and you could see what was coming with the degenerates roaming around with nothing to do.

Once an up-and-coming city, Portland was destroyed from within by radical activism and political ineptitude.

Unless I was offered an ignorant amount of money, I wouldn’t want to live in any major west coast city.

How is it that the damned liberals have taken over all the best looking scenery in the country?

Seattle was the same way. Now the Emerald City looks like Return to OZ with flying monkeys and roller skating freaks and shite.

Some friends of mine lived there. He made a stupid amount of money. They hated it. Said everyone was mean, miserable, and the weather sucked.

Actually it smells like homeless shite and junkie piss. But even Cobain wouldn't have been able to put that into a lyric.

Beautiful place but a complete fricking circus. I flew in around midnight and drove to the hotel. I was circling off the bridge to downtown and a woman jumps out with no clothes on screaming like a banshee. It was like something out of a horror film. After I checked in to the room I walked around a little bit and it was mostly just normal drug heads running around downtown. Went back and got sleep. Wake up the next morning and walk to the donut shop. For some reason a addict gets in line in front of me . Luckily I had in a covid mask or I am sure he would have smelled horrible. He would twirl his finger in his hair then spit in his hand and throw it against the wall. After about 5 min of wtf someone ran him out of line.

Walking around the city and you are tripping over bums. They setup tents on the sidewalk and if you go to a park they are sleeping all over the grass. I went downtown one night and another was drugged out aNd getting kind of aggressive in the middle of the street. another day I walked to the bum compound across the river. Trash everywhere and bums everywhere. Just totally disgusting.

That’s just the bum situation, throw in all the antifa shite and it’s just outright unbelievable what goes in there.

I used to dream of living where they filmed The Goonies. Sucks it’s all screwed up.

I know two girls that are engaged that work for Nike and Adidas that moved back to Cleveland because they were so afraid of violent crime this summer. Portland to Cleveland imagine that ten years ago. Yes they are both hot

It's really sad but it was predictable if you had been downtown anytime past 2007ish.

Portland has been a runaway/homeless haven since the 90s.

Near suburbs of Portland is still better than anywhere else I’ve ever lived - the problem is all the pushy white liberal women - they are the worst and have gotten super emboldened these last 14 months.

This was not a good city to go through Covid in

I've driven all over the US and one of the most sketchy places I have ever been was in Portland.

Bums everywhere, most of them younger white people. Had to have a key code just to take a leak in the bathroom of a fast food place. People milling around all hours of the night. It had a real traveling circus feel.

This is only second to Gallup, NM. The only city I have every seen 24 hr armed security in every Mcdonalds.

Nope. Portland weather is very underrated. Seattle is much worse, because the wind coming off the water makes it feel a lot colder than it really is.

Portland does not get very cold in the winter. It rains a lot in the winter, but usually just a drizzle. Summer is spectacular. The weather in the PNW is much better than the midwest, even in the winter. Compared to Louisiana, the winters are worse and the summers are better, so it's a wash, IMO.

No bugs to speak of.
