AOC's Seat Could Be Eliminated

Fox News Linked this article and I found it interesting. Would the Dems eliminate this radical nut-job? She won't pay her dues, she doesn't play well with others and she's essentially trying to take over the party and she's about to find out what the ramifications of her attempted hostile take are.

If there's any legs to this theory the outcome of AOC's re-election bid going to have a big outcome on that seat.

She is no stranger to running against incumbent democrats, and beating them. She will just do what she is encouraging other progressives to do. Her career is not over.

The migration out of New York is likely to cost them House seats after the next census.

AOC is not helping herself with the DNC by playing the lone wolf role.

The fact that she could challenge Schumer for his senate seat will have him fighting to keep her in the House.

Won't happen. They will draw out a republican with very low seniority, because that is how this has always been done. If they draw out AOC she will raise 10 million dollars from her rabid idiot brigade in a week and will immediately start running in her new district/for senate/for president. She isn't going to just go away that easily

She ran against one who, quite frankly, didn't at all take her seriously. He didn't even campaign.

If only Joe Crowley actually gave a damn about campaigning.

She knows her career in the house is very much in jeopardy.

But, it's going to be fascinating to watch people like you defend her future millionaire status while railing against rich people.

She’s the new mainstream democrat. She’s not going anywhere unfortunately

I think she stands to make a helluva lot of money outside of Congress. If the GOP get's the House back she's done as a legislator. In the private sector, the far left activist groups will pay her a fortune to be the face of her organization.

LOL, she ran against an incumbent that laughed at her and didn't campaign. No one is doing that again. She won with 16,000 votes in a district that had 215,000 democrats. It's a prime example of a 10 term incumbent, not taking his opponent seriously, didn't campaign and his supporters staying home.

There is.

She is actively scorning the DNC.

She is refusing to pay her dues and is supporting primarying multiple Democrats.

She is expendable.

New York will lose seats. They will redistrict. But not till 2022.

Question is will they pair her with another incumbent dem who again could get upset or will they pair her with a republican incumbent

Second question is will she even win re election in 2020. Prior to redistricting

I think it was implied that "2020 Redistricting" = "redistricting as a result of the 2020 Census"

The answer to number two is “She’ll win.”

The demographics of her district (South Bronx, IIRC) mean this retard can ride racial BS back to DC unless the Dems throw a well known and well funded challenger against her.

They don’t have the funds to do it in a media market as expensive as NYC, IMHO, as the DNC is broke and it would take a lot for other candidates to pony up to take out AOC, even with her targeting members of the caucus in purple districts.

They can't do that. She was inaugurated. Remember?

There’s not.

They aren’t going to risk totally pissing of the sizable number of young progressives in the party by eliminating her district. They might run a more establishment-favored challenger to her though.

I think she will defeat Schumer for his Senate seat.
