From what I’ve seen and heard Chinese (and orientals in generals) can’t stand Africans much less American blacks.

I've actually been to Japan. The racist stereotypes hold truer more for the older generations than the younger, but it's more overt/accepted. I didn't have any problems over there, though. Would love to visit again, in fact.
