I've killed a few motherfrickers for gathering sticks on the Sabbath.

No.
Do you think his pastor is still preaching like Old Testament prophecies are all waiting to be fulfilled?
If that one is too hard, maybe try this question: is you are still retarded?

This is some Rex level attempt at trolling.

Old Covenant vs New Covenant. /thread

Leviticus is the Old Covenant, we are under a new covenant.
That being said, I see where you are coming from. Many want to condemn certain sins while partaking of their own sins. Gluttony, pride and greed come to mind.
I think one of the main issues is that when confronted with their sins many will acknowledge that is sin and some will confess their sin and ask for forgiveness. However in the case of homosexuality often there is no repentance but rather an effort is made to argue that it is not sin or that the text that identifies it as sin is outdated and should not be adhered to.
I believe that God loves sinners, people that commit sin. Often Christians act like this is not true as they fail to show love to those that commit certain sins.
While we were yet sinners (committing all kinds of sins) Christ died for us.
Sinners (committing all kinds of sins) come to Christ daily and get saved. They don't have to quit sinning to be forgiven/saved. However, they must confess that he is the Lord of their lives and know that he is going to work on us and change us through the process of sanctification. This is his work in us, not something we can do on our own.
He is the one that will dictate the things that he wants to change in us and in time we all will become a new creation, becoming more like Christ day by day.
God does not hate gay people or other sinners, but he is not going to say that their sin, or any other sin is ok because culture has changed and accepted it.

Pork is a cleanliness thing. We can now practice adequate food safety when eating pork so not an issue. It doesn’t relate here. It’s comparable to the kocher kitchen requirements, which we also don’t need to follow anymore bc of food safety in modern era

It is shocking that someone could speak of things they are this clueless about. You can say our faith is hogwash but the central core of our faith logically answers the stupid questions you are asking. Hebrews is an entire book of the Bible that addresses this very thing.

Wow. You’ve made a discovery no one else has EVER noticed. There must be no good explanation for it, AM I RIGHT? You should write a book about it. It’ll convince all the dumb Christian’s like me that there’s nothing wrong with homosexuality for sure (or is it that I shouldn’t eat pork?).
Brilliant.
Brilliant.

"Jesus affirms heterosexual marriage, and Paul condemns same-sex relations. These two facts about the New Testament cannot be debated."

I think that this post was started not to argue about what the bible says about homosexuality, but to point out the hypocrisy of Christians who elevate certain sins over other sins, all due to their own cultural beliefs.
We curse homosexuals, but don't think twice about liars, adulterers, etc.

Choosing to emphasize some sins over others has always been a problem with sinful man. The OP's post is coming from an inability to understand the impact of Christ's coming to how we look at the law. These things are separate issues.

You are the one conflating Christianity with Judaism.
It's pure hilarity watching idiots with no knowledge on something go out and find snippets of that something in an absolute failed attempt at a gotcha with zero understanding what they are saying. You may want to sit this one out, you ignorant mouthbreather.
