Sure, and republicans hold a 38-9 senate seat lead, and a 61-37 house seat lead. Damn near a supermajority in both houses. You won't see any Virginia type shite there.

Dems run just about every decent sized city. Republican areas are mostly suburban and rural.

Probably true, but Texas has plenty of their own problems. For instance, Texas, of all places, is not a Constitutional carry state. Can't imagine all them Texas baws asking the government for permission to exercise their Constitutional right.

There are probably 10 100-200k cities in DFW alone and you could throw in ft worth which is a lot better run than Dallas

I grew up in Benton. Been gone for a long time. I remember driving through a few years back and my mind was blown by how much it had changed.
