Better start breaking out those titties

For months stores nationwide have been struggling to stock enough baby formula. Manufacturers say they're producing at full capacity and making as much formula as they can, but it's still not enough to meet current demand.
The out-of-stock rate for baby formula hovered between 2% and 8% in the first half of 2021, but began rising sharply last July. Between November 2021 and early April 2022, the out-of-stock rate jumped to 31%, data from Datasembly showed.
That rate has increased another 9% in just the past two weeks, and now stands at 40%, the statistics show. In six states — Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, Missouri, Texas and Tennessee — more than half of baby formula was completely sold out during the week starting April 24, Datasembly said.
And although seven states had between 40-50% of baby formula products out of stock as of early April, 26 states are now struggling with supply.

This wouldn't be a problem if everyone just aborted their clump of cells.

Am I wrong by getting a stiffy watching that?

What is causing this? Are people hoarding it?

Because it being stolen and resold by democrat-Americans all over the place.

Don't women breastfeed anymore?
Posted on 5/8/22 at 1:58 pm to LRB1967
Really hoping my wife can breastfeed or at least pump if baby doesn’t latch. It’s got my nerves on edge, not gonna lie. Don’t see this issue resolving before the due date.

No. Formula is most certainly not better.
Breastfeeding is better and more economical.

Yes plenty do but you still need formula to supplement

No idea if it is happening for the same reason here but something similar happened in Australia. Turns out the Chinese were buying it up because there was contamination at a formula plant in China. So the Chinese in Australia were told to buy up all they could and it was sent to China. Same thing happened with PPE items early on in the pandemic.

if they stop with the chemical concoctions BS and just start sucking moms titties again there is no problem. then the 2% with allergies who cant handle mommas milk will have formula when all the lazy ones arent using it just because they are lazy

There has been a Covid boom of babies
I hoarded as our first son was born Feb 20. I also looked up alternatives
My wife didn’t make enough milk to keep up with the second child. Fortunately she had a friend who was equivalent to a top selling jersey cow.

False.
Scientifically formulated to be better.
Only hippies breastfeed.

If the baby has issues latching definitely get the baby checked For a tongue tie.
We went to a pediatric ENT and my son had a pretty Advanced one that none of the regular pediatricians wanted to even diagnose.
The procedure was super easy and he seemed to take it well. And he was able to latch after that.
Our current problem is that he’s a giant baby and my wife cannot keep up with the demand.

My first kid (2019) was on the tit until he got teeth. We switched to formula for the titties’ sake for 3 months before starting cow milk around 10/12 months old.
My youngest (2021) was allergic (like me). We made it one month with him on the tit before the bloody shites, red arse, and sleepless nights made us switch. Doctor recommended it, too, after tests.
Let me tell you, this dude can only digest one kind of formula, Nutramigen. It took us 2 months to figure out the correct one.
I’ve spent at least ten different nights over the past 6 months driving all around town and to nearby towns to try and find this formula. Most stores are out of stock most of the time.
The entire baby formula section of every store looks like a 3rd world country unless the truck just came.

Your son is not allergic to breast milk, he's having reactions to something in your wife's diet. Incredible

It's amazing how many assholes come out in these breastfeeding/formula threads that have never had to do it themselves. Good luck to you.

Not necessarily. My wife breastfed two of our three with no formula supplement at all. We were actually encouraged not to supplement.
