... to further demonstrate that corona is all his fault and he should have just flipped a switch like NZ did. The played a real nice report on NPR yesterday morning.

NZ, like Madagascar in Pandemic, manages to avoid most of this stuff by being an island which is relatively sequestered from the rest of the world.
Kind of easy to Shut. Down. EVERYTHING! When you are an island and you are shutting down one airport and some docks.

Not that anything the left does makes sense, but comparing a country with fewer people than the state of Alabama to the entire United States is ridiculous anyway.

Not NZ...the news media. Should never have compared apples and oranges. I’m tired of their constant attempt at blaming a guy who really has no power to stop an unstoppable force.
What NZ shows that even with the most restrictive measures - and 100+ miles of water on all four sides - this virus is so contagious, it will not be stopped. (Thanks China)

New Zealand has some of the harshest, most zenophobic immigration laws of any first world democracy.
They also are using DRACONIAN measures on their own people, essentially forcibly imprisoning positive cases against their will.

After 100+ days, it returns out of the blue.... sounds pretty difficult. So much so, we probably ought to just let it run it’s course and move on with society.
But, once again, that corona is smart: It gave NZ a 100 day break so the PM could kick off her re-election campaign to much fanfare, get some good press...and THEN came back.

This is the same country that started to ban many guns after one mass shooting and arrested people for sharing videos of the shooting. New Zealand is not a country we should ever idolize. Their PM is a joke. frick New Zealand!

I mean, yes.
They are literally an island and took extreme lockdown measures and they still have cases? If they can’t control the virus then there really is no solution than letting it run it’s course and treating those who contract.
If they are the “solution” then the solution is far worse than the virus itself
