You need better sedation to shut them up.

And also tell them if they do not shut up you will replace them with minority women in a heartbeat.

You can’t just ask her why this supposed backbone of our country lost a war to the industrialized northern states? Our country was built on poor, white labor if anything.

Yes, I don't have references handy, but slavery contributed about 5 to 7% of the nation's GDP. This is much lower than what the 1619 Project claims.

Plus, Brazil had far more slaves than the US, and look at which nation is far poorer.

Slavery was the worst thing that ever happened to most White Americans.

Was the American system built entirely upon slave labor? Of course not.

Was it built in part upon slave labor? Of course.

Only a complete idiot would deny either fact

Enlighten us with what part of the American system was built on slave labor? Obviously there are very isolated examples but I'm looking for something more widespread.

Slaves were a major investment for slaveholders so oftentimes, they wouldn't lend them out for "public projects" like canal building and the like.

Poor immigrant whites did most of that type of thing.

Professor Sean Wilentz’s response to the 1619 project:

I also recommend James Lindsay’s website New Discourses to learn where these theories are coming from and how to counter them intellectually:

He has a wonderful article on how to address SJW culture, specifically anti-racism in the office:

Even it were built in slavery, what is the proposed alternative?

The biggest challenge I see with society today is we have massive groups of people who are excellent at pointing out imperfection but an inversely proportional volume of people providing any workable solutions that haven’t already been proven numerous times to be disastrous. Perhaps that is an indicator that we have reached the apex of humanity with nowhere to go but down but I certainly hope not.

The whole modern world (including Third World) was built on it in some fashion.

For 157 years slavery existed in the 13 colonies under a British Flag. Only 89 under the US flag and only 4 under the Stars and Bars. Lets ban the British Flag and take it off the flag of Hawaii. They allowed slavery to start here in the first place. It is shameful this has gone unnoticed.

Brazil imported ~10x the amount of slaves than America.

Which one is the world's superpower?

So, I guess all the shite that gets built is always built by the same people who dreamed it up in the first place?...

property (i don't use that term cavalierly, slavery was evil) of less than 5% of the population of less than half of the states for less than half our history built America?

i'm all about recognizing the nuances of slavery and where it played in with a lot of historic racism (3/5 compromise, jim crow laws, etc) but people need to GTFOWTS.

Shapiro talks at length about this subject.

Economically, slavery is inefficient.

That’s not the talk, but it may get you to a YouTube video on the subject from him.
