The Advocate carrying Cassidy's water. Bill Cassidy's not worried about GOP criticism.

He’s been condemned by his own state party for his vote to convict former President Donald Trump for inciting the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, but U.S. Sen. Bill Cassidy doesn’t appear to be bothered. Declaring himself “at such peace” with his decision, Cassidy told reporters last week that the formal censure from the Louisiana Republican Party’s state central committee reflects the sentiment of "a small group of people," not the "broader Republican Party."
Upon further questioning, Cassidy doubled down.
"There's a diversity of opinion among Louisiana Republicans, even if there is not among a very small group of people," he said.

Sounds like Stephanie is trying to offset those billboards!

More gaslighting from that pedo looking fraud. The group is massive. Over 80m at least nationwide. And LA is a deep red state no matter what Dominion spits out. But keep attempting to die on that hill Bill. You’ll pick the right chamber eventually.

The senator’s got a point. The party leaders who convened an emergency weekend vote to blast him do indeed make up a “very small group of people,” at least compared to the majority who voted to give Cassidy a second six-year term in November
What a dumb bitch. Had the bullshite vote happened before the election, he wouldn’t have sniffed reelection.
fricking fat arse Pravda bitch. Probably wears 2 masks and yells at people for not wearing a mask despite looking like the damn Michelin man.
Lose some weight you fat fricking bitch. I know you’re reading this like the self hating fat slut you are.

Louisiana voters will have to find away to prove their point that the majority of republicans don’t approve of Cassidy.

The voters of Louisiana being the small group and the "broader Republican party" being his DC swamp rats who think they party belongs to them.

I once posted here that all anybody needed to be correct in a Stephanie Grace column is a (D) following their name. She’s added “or attack people who have (R) following their name” to that description, but she’s every bit as biased as she’s always been.
No idea what’s happened to Cassidy, but I’d bet there was significant money involved and I won’t be surprised if he’s Romney II from now on. Stephanie will be thrilled.

Good. He will not worry when he is collecting his money from the swamp, better known as his fed pension.
Can we block pensions?

Stop bitching about Cassidy and do something about it. Start a statewide recall petition. Even if it's unsuccessful politicians hate that stuff with a passion because it's lead weight around their necks. They have to respond to a recall petition and it costs them time a resources, not to mention the negative press.

I am not in Louisiana, could you be my advocate? Do it for the people.

They keep calling me to renew a subscription that my son had only because of the sports section. He has pretty much given up on LSU sports and the pros, so it was cancelled. Next time they call I will tell them Cassidy is the reason I won't renew.

Senators can't be recalled. They have to be expelled by two-thirds vote in the Senate like an impeachment.

You cannot recall a Senator
Last I read only 130k out of 600k signed to recall JBE

the fricktoid is mortgaged to almost $1.7 million, so he needs in on some of that chyna money. that's why he's thrown in with satan's minions. the fricker is compromised, and will switch parties before the next election.

I understand the idea of limiting it to an impeachment style expulsion. Protects the congruence of the legislative branch from a potential stream of recalls from voters of 50 states.
On the other hand, the voters are left with no form of recourse against a senafor they've lost confidence in. Especially for a just reelected Senator with nearly a full term remaining. Our dissatisfaction is left to be remedied by other senators who don't care about the particulars of voters from another state. Of course that's going nowhere.
