I think I would prefer shorter sentences and harsher conditions. They could spend all day listening to tapes of liberal Karens talk about there children's band recitals and bad restaurant experiences. We can force them to eat my wife's cooking. No gym, no tv, no conjugal visits, and no entertainment. When they get out, they should NEVER want to go back.
I have always felt that a Papillon situation would be a great option.

The solution is straightforward, but our leaders lack the courage to implement it. If you were convicted of a violent crime, such as armed robbery, you should face a life sentence in prison or the death penalty. Additionally, your trial should take place within a few months of the charges being filed.

America does have a prison problem. We don't have enough of them.

1. Identify them at a young age.

2. Anyone convicted of a violent non homicide before 18 serves either a very long stint in Juvie, or has to join the military. (or we can ship them overseas with the peace core permanently.)

Schools know who these kids are, they need to stop pretending everything is alright and start shifting them into institutions quickly.
