It's hard to find a good politics board.
This is an amazing place.
Full of facts and opposition. Not a circle jerk.
This board makes me proud to be from Louisiana.

This board has gone deeply downhill over the past few years.
Both sides play a roll, too. While certain hardcore trumpkins have made it worse, you have to fault some new liberal posters as well. There are A LOT of new left wing posters who bring nothing to the table intellectually. They come here to score gotcha points and brag about "wins" since jan 2017.
The amount of policy debate has plummeted. Old school leftwing Posters like Rex and Vegas Bengal could argue for 20+ pages about tax law, policy, etc and it would be informative, interesting, and rewarding to read through. Those guys are gone now.
They are replaced with birdbrain mongoloids like JuiceTerry, LakeBoy7, and Dignan- posters whose policy chops goes as far as "lol drumpf is stupid, I oppose him on everything. Go to college redneck!"
