I'd tell my tale of being screwed over by the feds, but I'm half drunk and tired. But I've wanted to revolt on these dipshits, and can relate to his anger. It's a no win situation though. He'll lose everything and you can't fight them in court either. They have endless resources (ours) to use against us. Maybe when I'm old and don't give a shite, I'll f$%k some shite up.

from what I understand, that's why Mr. Bundy stopped paying his fees. He realized he was financing his own demise.

Could the pederast Harry Reid have anything to do with this?

Mash

quote:

A tortoise isn’t the reason why BLM is harassing a 67 year-old rancher. They want his land. The tortoise wasn’t of concern when Harry Reid worked BLM to literally change the boundaries of the tortoise’s habitat to accommodate the development of his top donor, Harvey Whittemore. Whittemore was convicted of illegal campaign contributions to Senator Reid. Reid’s former senior adviser is now the head of BLM. Reid is accused of using the new BLM chief as a puppet to control Nevada land (already over 84% of which is owned by the federal government) and pay back special interests. BLM has proven that they’ve a situational concern for the desert tortoise as they’ve had no problem waiving their rules concerning wind or solar power development. Clearly these developments have vastly affected a tortoise habitat more than a century-old, quasi-homesteading grazing area. If only Clive Bundy were a big Reid donor.

Okay, I'll be the first to bring it up. Why hasn't our president had a public, not behind closed doors, input into this powder keg waiting to go off situation?

I guarantee you someone will be killed before we see anything out of him.

Has any article mentioned at what point the land became BLM controlled instead of state controlled? Or has it always been federal land?

That's the question I have. I think the issue with the feds is the Gopher protection, EPA maybe.

As I understand and I read this quickly, the state of NV. still owns the land. That is who he is in arrears to in Fees.

From my earlier link:

BLM has also tried to argue that the rules have changed, long after Bundy claims he secured rights and paid his dues to Clark County, Nevada. BLM says they supersede whatever agreement Bundy had prior; -

"With all these rangers and all this force that is out here, they are only after one man right now. They are after Cliven Bundy. Whether they want to incarcerate me or whether they want to shoot me in the back, they are after me. But that is not all that is at stake here. Your liberty and freedom is at stake," - Cliven Bundy

No, Mr. Bundy... I don't think so. My liberty and freedom are just fine.

So as long as China invades the west coast you're good with that until they show up on your doorstep?

Why doesn't the Gov send out the national guard to stand up for this man's rights?

How are my liberty and freedom at stake because Mr. Bundy is being evicted for not paying his necessary fees?

If you were refused entrance at Yellowstone for not paying the gate fee would my liberty and freedom be at stake then, too?

WTF are you talking about? I don't see any Chinese names or faces in any of those articles or videos, but several duly appointed agents of the US government enforcing democratically-instituted law.

Rex you know this is not about right/wrong over taxes. It's about overkill of personnel being administered to make an arrest, as far as the majority of this board goes.

If the government wanted to arrest their man they could have quietly sent out Friday and Gannon with a warrant to make the arrest.

Yours aren't a stake... yet. You're a democrat.
