Ted Lieu should get slammed by his constituents for this spectacle. This is the kind of narrative spinning stuff that all Americans should be against. Republican or Democrat, you should want the full story and truth. Anyone who voted for him should call him out and let him know he just lost their vote for being dishonest. If he’s dishonest in front of cameras and committee, imagine his morals behind closed doors.

Nadler was equally despicable in that clip. He didn't listen to her at all and was just looking to attack her. Even when he got called out for mischaracterizing her statement, he just shrugged her off.

Agreed. I interpreted his shrug to mean “well, so what, I said what I said”
