Dude is only 45. I could see him have a hard time winning reelection in 2018 so sit on the Supreme Court for 15+ years and he could still run for president someday. I'm sure his fellow senators would love for him to leave so no problems getting approved.

The Rs would do it just to get him out of the Senate.

I think his political career suffered a huge hit the cycle. Not sure he has the personality to rebuild it.
If offered he should definitely accept.

And would Trump pardon Cruz's father for his part in the Kennedy Assassination first?

We need to stop the Ted Cruz as SCOTUS justice. There is not a chance in hell this happens.

Yeah, because we all know Supreme Court nominations should be made based on the quality "melts" they would receive.

We control both houses, I like Cruz but we need all senators to stay where they are. Maybe in a few years when the next court position opens up.

Rick perry gets appointed as Cruz replacement or maybe even George p bush so not like it's a downgrade

Good man but he would never make it through the senate confirmation hearings. Too many enemies in that chamber.
