Tax Renewals Are BullS**T!

Why do folks feel as though a tax renewal isn't such a big deal? Common thinking is, well we've been paying it for so many years so we won't feel it. Tax renewals only give the receiving entities more incentive to spend YOUR money. It's always easy to spend other people's money.
Imagine your electric bill was $350 per month and you had been paying this amount for the last 3 or 4 years. Then all of a sudden the power company slashed your bill by $100 per month. Wouldn't you be able to find use for that $100 extra that you won't be paying each month to the power company?
Vote NO on tax renewals & save your money! But do VOTE!

Depends on what your renewing. Ours today was the millage for the Sheriffs Dept in EBR. They do a great job and there is no reason not to renew that one.

I vote no on any tax renewal. I have seen the worthless fricks that work in the Government and don't want to subsidize their salaries

So you don’t believe a government entity, like the sheriff’s can, has excess they could cut to tighten their budget and save tax payers money?

I agree, but I voted no as a protest vote.
I don’t mind paying the sheriff but he helped get the Bridge Center tax passed and ran for the hills. Now we have another private group wasting our tax dollars.

You don't think there is waste in the sherrif's office? I'm about to go vote no on that sh!t.
