My take away from all of this is that there really isn't an improvement between the states that were more authoritarian and states that weren't.

And people need to be investigated on criminal charges regarding nursing home deaths in the Northeast. .

The media's all out assault to make the red states to look bad is because of the failures of blue state leaders and they know it.

Imagine if GA or FL had done what Cuomo did in NY with nursing homes. It would be the daily headline.

You can go to the CDC site and see a map with cases and deaths in each state. Then you'd just need to look up the governors (unless you already know them).

Advantage is you'd be able to get the most up to date numbers, and you can add more states, especially if it makes the point even stronger. PA would for sure.

That uses larger states so it isn't a biased sample. But progtards will just say Blumpf is trying to kill people in blue states.

Especially the head of the PA department of health.

Cuomo could argue that he made a tragic but good faith error in judgment (especially since he reversed himself).

But someone who pulls their own family out of a nursing home, before forcing the homes to take infected patients, knew exactly what the outcome would be.

And then you have door number three, Michigan, where a Covid positive mental patient was placed in a nursing home and committed a set of racially motivated elder abuse assaults.

We can only hope and pray that the vast majority of Americans know this ^^^^ and are at a minimum sick of the DimMedia BS! I attributed some of the credit for Trump's victory in the 2016 GE on the DimMedia's over the top anti Trump coverage.....let's hope the DimMedia's anti Trump coverage is a bigger factor in 2020 and its a Trump fricking landslide victory.

Ohio had a pretty early and expensive lockdown though.

Also, Missouri, a Red state, would be mid 100 in deaths, if it wasn't for the Liberal run St.Louis and St.Louis County.

500 of 676 deaths are just from st.louis and st.louis county.

I believe they said there were more than 29 old folks homes that were hit hard, which led to these numbers

You're right. But, he isn't. Instead he saying Trump's CDC made him do it.

Florida was under the exact same CDC recommendations and DeSantis made sure that Florida didn't do the same things that New York and Cuomo were doing. This is all on Cuomo, not Trump. Democrats are unequivocal liars and will never own up to their own BS.

re: Tale of the tape Red vs Blue - Coronavirus
Democratic governors have 10 of the 12 worst states for per capita deaths currently.

California is not one of those and is doing well but they have restrictions. Florida has almost the identical number of cases pet capita and deaths per capita and has actually tested slightly more per capita....and they are open more than California.

Comparing these 2 states approaches makes one question what is actually working, if anything to slow the spread.

High UV exposure?

Both are beach states and known for being sunny.

NJ, MI, NY, etc? Less so.
