They took a long time and a lot of words to avoid answering the question as to why Jamal isn’t set up for success.

It’s because Jamal doesn’t have a father and stable home life. He has no motivation to succeed and is filled with anger and rage. Jamal’s chances at success are greatly increased, if his parents were married and worked for a living.

You certainly addressed the self inflected root.

even the other assertions can be dismantled rather easily but the fact that 72% of Jamals are born to a single mother is never once attributed to Jamal not keeping up with his brother from another mother , Kevin.

Wonder how they factor in the destruction of the nuclear black family in there.....long story short I hear a lot of soft stats (glorified opinions) and not a lot of meat.

Isn't it racist to assume the average black person is poor though??

It is , but it also assumes Kevin is a fancy rich boy.

Sooooo, equally racist and fair by default ? Hahahaha

And poor isn’t an excuse for sht anyway. Lotta poor people make it in America.
Rags to riches is a legit possibility in our amazing country regardless of race.

Capitalism is the only system that can lift anyone from anywhere at anytime.

It’s time for the black community to somewhat own why so many of them wind up being frickups. If some of them succeed in life, it’s not some magical fluke.

That's the kicker. People like my parents who ended the cycle of poverty and frickups in their families don't get admired by the majority of blacks unless they're entertainers AND leftists. So if they don't fit that mold, they get brushed off as "lucky" or some such dismissive fiddle faddle. And the cycle resumes.

Blacks should do a positive root cause investigation on Vietnamese, Indians, Middle Easterners, Hispanics and Africans to see if anything is leverageable.

Anytime the word explained is used in a title you pretty much guarantee it is going to be some NPC programming.

by the way, systematic racism actually isn’t real because it’s called systemic

Or they get labeled as an Uncle Tom, a sell out, dancing for the white man.

The other issue here is the assumption that all white people are rich. My family was not rich. My dad worked two jobs while going to school after the was medically discharged from the army. My mom worked full time as well. As a child I spent most of my afternoons after school or summers with my aunt or grandmother. We were not rich by any stroke of the imagination. My dad is Mexican and my mom is white. So while I look like a white person who tans well, my dad is a minority who’s grand parents came here legally. My dad however was from a broken home and spent much of his early adolescent years dabbling in street gangs in California before he was given the choice to go to juvie or move to Louisiana to live with his dad. He will tell you that he didn’t turn his life around. A profound encounter with God turned his life around.

My life was easier than my dad’s but that’s because he wanted to make it easier. I’ll do the same for my kids.

So much BS

Jamal’s school would be better if his neighborhood wasn’t shite and his property taxes were higher because the values didn’t suck. .

Redlining was based on banks and insurers not wanting to risk capital on housing that would lose value due to being in shitty neighborhoods or result in damaged property. That’s not racism....that’s business.

And Jamal has much more of a chance of getting into the prized University due to quotas. In fact, Kevin better bust his arse on the SAT because Jamal will be accepted with lower grades and get aid.

And if Jamal can run a 4.4...then his school is free.
