It was the right ruling.
But are they really gonna save EPA for last?

re: Supreme Court - Friday Release DayPosted by Mid Iowa Tiger on 6/24/22 at 9:16 am to Bourre
What an amazing day! I am trying to reach a very good friend of mine whose life work has been to overturn Roe and end abortion. While this ruling is only a partial completion of that work, he has to be elated. He is in Hawaii celebrating his daughter's wedding so I am sure he is awake.
I never thought I would see it though I have worked with him.

From the opinion:
quote:
Some of our most important constitutional decisions have overruled prior precedents. We mention three. In Brown v. Board of Education, 347 U. S. 483 (1954), the Court repudiated the “separate but equal” doctrine, which had allowed States to maintain racially segregated schools and other facilities. Id., at 488 (internal quotation marks omitted). In so doing, the Court overruled the infamous decision in Plessy v. Ferguson, 163 U. S. 537 (1896), along with six other Supreme Court precedents that had applied the separate-but-equal rule.

I'm really surprised they release Dobbs today. I was expecting and really hoping for EPA instead.

Hopefully Roberts being on the right side bodes well for EPA
